Job description

As a Shift Leader at our Lincoln Park store located at 2260 N Lincoln Ave, Chicago IL 60614, you are the captain of our bakery during your shift! You understand what it takes to “Own the Night” by predicting the flow of business and leading a successful shift. Your hands-on leadership should include building orders, suggestive selling, baking, and customer interaction. Taking pride in your role as a leader and contributing to a productive and fun environment is essential.

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service and quality products to guests
• Support store operations during your shift, including communication, monitoring efficiency, and training team members
• Delegate tasks such as baking, cashiering, packaging, and cleaning while leading the team
• Work alongside the Cookie Crew
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and adhere to food safety standards
• Manage cash handling and deposits

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of customer service experience
• Experience with Point of Sale systems
• Strong communication, time management, and leadership skills
• Outgoing, friendly, and patient
• Detail-oriented and results-driven
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
• Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• Must be 18 or older
