We are looking for a Market Segment Manager- School Bus, for our EV Charging business. This position will be remotely based in the US or Canada.

This role will be responsible for developing new market opportunities for sales of Heliox/Siemens product lines in the North America, specifically focusing on growing the School bus market.

You’ll make a difference with the following duties:

  • Act as subject matter experts on the assigned market including charging landscape, vehicles requirements, regulations, and other factors impacting market development.
  • Create and deploy winning strategy including 4-Ps (Product, Placement, Price, and Promotion).
  • Heavy influence on how Siemens goes to market and how we utilize business developers and Siemens channels.
  • Primary lead with industry influencers including OEMs, Distributors, CMS companies, consultants, and others.
  • Primary responsible for working with legal and order management (LOA process) to facilitate MSAs, Contracts, and sales support.
  • May be a key account manager of select accounts on case-by-case basis

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business management, business administration, marketing and sales, or a technical field related to our products
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience with the following:
    • Sales/business development in the automotive and/or energy industry (experience with identifying and developing new market segments in the transportation industry or similar market environment)
    • Thorough understanding of renewable energy policy, incentives and business models
    • Good knowledge and understanding of the EV industry in the U.S. & Canada
    • Exceptional interpersonal, and communication skills
    • Flexibility and open-minded attitude (scale up work environment, new industry)
    • Fully bilingual, speaking English and French
    • Ability to travel 20 - 50%
  • Legally authorized to work in the EITHER the United States OR Canada on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

  • The pay range for this position is $100,450 - $172,200 plus incentive. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
