Job summary

CPL is seeking a Market Sector Principal - Landscape Architect to lead design excellence and technical standards across large-scale initiatives. You will mentor teams, guide practice growth, and support project pursuit, development, and delivery while championing sustainability and client-focused solutions.

You will oversee budgets, schedules, and QA, while expanding CPL's reach regionally and nationally. Strong leadership, licensure in multiple states, and travel willingness are essential.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in landscape architecture; fifteen years of experience with at least five years in a Studio/Practice Manager role.
• Professional Licensure with ability to be licensed in multiple states.
• Understanding of current trends and growth areas in AEC/LA industry.
• Subject matter expert with strong communication skills.
• Ability to travel regionally and nationally as needed.

Responsibilities

• Act as culture guardian and promote CPL values.
• Develop internal relationships to grow multi-discipline capabilities.
• Allocate resources to deliver high-quality client experiences.
• Expand CPL practice geographically and in sales volume.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop CPL team members and leaders.
• Oversee project scopes, schedules, budgets, and QA.
• Collaborate on annual business development plans.
