KLA Industries, Inc. in New Jersey seeks a Strategic Purchaser to drive our e-commerce and dropship purchasing program. You’ll move beyond price lists, build direct distributor networks, and buy at the right time to optimize margins and cash flow.

You’ll own purchases from start to finish, analyze market trends, negotiate favorable terms, and coordinate with sales and product teams to clear stock and maximize revenue.

Qualifications

• Strong market instincts and ability to identify and negotiate deals.
• Decisive, independent decision-maker with ownership of results.
• Strong supplier relationships and understanding of margins and cash flow.
• Organized, analytical, and clear communicator.
• Collaborative mindset to scale purchasing operations.
• Plus: experience in product trading, closeout stock, or e-commerce arbitrage.

Responsibilities

• Stay on top of market pricing, trends, promotions and supply/demand.
• Decide when to buy, wait, or pass on a deal and stock quantities.
• Use promotions and market opportunities to improve margins while managing risk.
• Build and maintain a broad network of direct distributors and suppliers.
• Negotiate pricing and terms; own financial outcomes of purchases.
• Monitor inventory and sales trends; adjust pricing or stock as needed.
• Coordinate with sales and other teams before buying or selling stock.
• Document suppliers, pricing, inventory, tests, and results; act independently but collaboratively.
