At NBC Sports Next, we equip more than 30 million players, coaches, athletes, sports administrators, and fans in 40 countries with more than 25 sports solution products, including SportsEngine, SportsEngine Play, GolfNow, and GolfPass. These products connect golfers and golf facilities worldwide through innovative solutions like cloud-based management and contactless technology.

This role is part of our Golf group, focusing on products like GolfNow, TeeOff, and GolfPass, which enhance the golf experience through innovative solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow relationships with golf course partners and prospects through outside sales calls.
  • Prepare, present, and close customized golf course solutions.
  • Document sales activities in CRM and generate reports on sales and revenue.
  • Conduct market and course analysis, implement marketing strategies to grow partner rounds and revenue.
  • Manage relationships with Multi-Course Operators and become an expert on the local golf economy.
Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Computer/Internet proficiency
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Desired Characteristics:

  • Experience with online distribution platforms/technology
  • CRM experience (e.g., Salesforce)
  • College degree (preferred)
  • Business acumen and problem-solving skills
  • Digital sales and marketing experience (a plus)
  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding goals
Additional Requirements
  • Residency or willingness to relocate to San Antonio or Austin, TX
  • Ability to travel, work overtime, and weekends as needed
  • Hybrid work model (minimum three days in-office)
