Job summary

Programmers is seeking an experienced Market Risk Solutions Lead to design and deliver CTRM-focused risk platforms in a Houston-based role. You will translate business requirements into scalable configurations and work across trading, risk, and settlement teams.

You will lead delivery streams, mentor analysts, and drive workshops on RightAngle and Endur integrations, with a deep understanding of commodity trading processes and VaR methodologies.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of experience implementing Market Risk / VaR solutions in commodity trading environments.
• Deep knowledge of commodity trading processes and CTRM platforms.
• Hands-on experience with ION RightAngle, ION Endur or similar systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of Market Risk solutions, integrating with RightAngle and Endur.
• Translate business requirements into functional designs, configurations, and deliverables.
• Support trading, market risk, scheduling, logistics, and settlement processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, consultants, developers, and testing teams throughout projects.
• Drive requirement workshops, process reviews, and solution design discussions.
• Provide expertise across physical and financial commodities trading, exposure management, and settlements.
• Lead project workstreams, mentor team members, and ensure delivery quality.
• Support testing, deployment, go-live, and post-prod stabilization.
• Maintain business process documentation and data dictionaries.
• Present recommendations, status, and risk assessments to leadership.
