Carvana seeks a Team Lead for its Market Operations hub in Tracy, CA to drive launch, operations, logistics, and customer experience. You will lead a team of Customer Advocates, shape daily operations, and translate market trends into proactive solutions.

You will coach, develop, and evaluate staff, generate regular performance reports, and ensure a high-energy, scalable operation in a fast-growing startup environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years work experience in a customer facing team environment.
• 3+ years of management experience.
• Proven history of developing and coaching employees.
• Strategic planning, process improvement and guiding teams to exceed goals.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Ability to diagnose and solve problems with varying complexity while maintaining customer focus.
• Willingness to work on weekends.
• Enthusiasm to contribute in a rapidly growing startup atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Interview, select, onboard and train a team of Customer Advocates and provide tools and guidance for success.
• Develop and coach the team, conduct feedback and performance checks, set goals to improve performance.
• Provide recognition and report regularly to upper management.
• Act as the go-to expert for the team and participate in hands-on activities like washing cars or operating the single-car hauler.
• Drive production in a fast-paced customer service environment and keep market operations efficient.
• Identify ways to improve the customer and Advocate team experience and resolve complex issues.
