Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company is seeking a meat department team member in a fast-paced retail setting. You will ensure market and seafood cases stay full, rotated, and fresh by trimming, weighing, packaging, and labeling products while promoting excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include assisting with cutting and preparing products, stocking to company standards, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace. Must be at least 18 with a Food Handler cert and flexibility for varied shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Food Handler certification required.
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 40 lbs frequently and 75 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to use knives, meat grinder, scales and packaging equipment safely.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist with cutting, weighing, packaging, and labeling products.
• Stock, rotate, and ensure freshness of market products.
• Keep coolers and freezers organized and follow labeling guidelines.
• Set up and operate equipment and maintain safety standards.
• Provide friendly customer service and answer questions.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work area per safety procedures.
