Job summary

Grinnell College Dining Services is seeking a Marketplace Culinary Supervisor to direct the Heart of the House cooks and support cook-to-order venues for breakfast, lunch and dinner. You will ensure food quality, monitor production records, and assist in staff training and development to uphold department procedures and standards of operation.

Effective communication with venues, cash operations and management is required to meet daily needs while maintaining hygiene, safety, and professional

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Six months or more experience preferred.
Champion of Diversity Equity and Inclusion.

Responsibilities

Direct and supervise HOH Cooks; assist in food prep for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Maintain accurate production records.
Assist in training and development of staff.
Communicate with venues, cash operations and management to meet needs.
Maintain hygiene and professional appearance to represent the department.

Education
