POET Bioproducts in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking a Market Analyst to analyze grain, livestock, and feedstuffs markets, identify opportunities, and support commercial decision-making. You will work with trading, logistics, and finance teams to turn data into actionable insights using Excel and storytelling.

The role emphasizes delivering risk reports, developing strategies with Senior Management, maintaining databases, and collaborating across functions to drive value for POET's global marketing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or related field.
• 3–5 years analytics or trading in commodities markets.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to tell data stories.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, research and analyze current grain, livestock, and feedstuffs environment to identify potential business initiatives.
• Provide and present analysis and risk reports to the POET Bioproducts Commercial Team.
• Assist in the development of trading strategies in conjunction with overall commercial directional strategies.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams in vetting possible business development opportunities.
• Build, enhance, and maintain the POET Bioproducts database.
• Prepare ad hoc strategic analyses as requested by Senior Management.
