Hy-Vee, Inc. is seeking a Market Grille Clerk for our Market Grille inside the Hy-Vee store. You will deliver friendly customer service, take orders at the counter, and help manage daily prep and food safety in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• No education requirement; we will provide all training you need to succeed.
• Six months or less of similar or related work experience; prior food service experience is a plus.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work through tasks with a few concrete variables.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service and greet customers with a smile.
• Take customer orders at the Market Grille counter and answer the telephone promptly.
• Review daily orders, anticipate product needs, and prepare and replenish product as necessary.
• Pull product from the cooler or freezer to prepare for cooking and ensure adequate food supply.
