Hy-Vee Market Grille Clerk is part of the store’s Food Service team, serving up made-to-order items and ensuring a welcoming customer experience. You will take orders, greet guests, and help manage daily product needs with a focus on quality and service.

Qualifications

• No formal education requirement; training provided.
• Six months or less of similar or related work experience; prior food service experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service at the Market Grille counter.
• Take customer orders and answer the telephone promptly.
• Review daily orders, anticipate product needs, and prepare/replenish as needed.
• Handle food safely and ensure freshness throughout the shift.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary work area and assist in other store areas as needed.
