Job summary

Hy-Vee in Minnesota is hiring a Market Grille Clerk to provide friendly service at the counter and take and fulfill customer orders. You’ll help with food prep, maintain cleanliness, and ensure safety standards are followed in a fast-paced store kitchen.

No formal education is required; training will be provided. Weekend and night shifts are required, and you’ll work as part of a collaborative Market Grille team to deliver a great customer experience.

Qualifications

• No education requirement; training provided.
• Six months or less of similar or related work experience; prior food service experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service at the Market Grille counter.
• Take customer orders and answer the telephone promptly, including product orders.
• Review daily orders and replenish product as necessary.
• Prepare food by pulling from cooler/freezer and maintain adequate stock.
• Ensure food safety and maintain a clean, sanitary work area.
• Operate the department register and handle payments.
• Maintain personal hygiene and follow Hy‑Vee policies.
