Job description

Job Responsibilities
  • Develop understanding of the market for the FBO including growth opportunities.
  • Conduct ongoing analysis of competition, including selling points, product offerings, and pricing.
  • Remain locally competitive by managing in liaison with Revenue Management team.
  • Create new opportunities by developing relationships with customers and airport authorities.
  • Establish a safety culture through daily observations, shift briefings, routine audits, SHEBBA maintenance, safety meetings, training, and documented procedures. Formulate emergency response procedures for aircraft accidents, fires, or other emergencies.
  • Promote customer loyalty by fostering an environment of increased employee engagement.
  • Interact regularly with customers to promote the FBO and measure satisfaction, using feedback to improve capabilities and processes.
  • Maintain proper staffing levels based on volume fluctuations.
  • Develop new business plans, including capital requirements and performance projections. Prepare the FBO budget considering capabilities and opportunities.
  • Manage financial aspects of the base, including capital expenditures, forecasting, budgeting, audits, and expense control.
  • Perform management responsibilities in accordance with organizational policies and applicable laws.
  • Conduct leadership functions such as annual reviews, hiring decisions, and performance management, including mentoring and skill development.
  • Ensure employees receive necessary training in safety, customer service, company values, and communication.
  • Oversee training and development to enhance work performance and employee potential.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

  • Five or more years of management experience, including at least three years in aviation.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Aviation Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Core competencies include entrepreneurship, change leadership, negotiation, business acumen, operational decision-making, customer orientation, results-driven mindset, interpersonal skills, and effective communication.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and web-based applications.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
