Job summary

Southwire Company, LLC is a leading North American wire and cable producer with a broad portfolio of electrical products and services. The Market Development & Industry Partnerships Intern will support workforce partnership initiatives, engage with industry associations, and help drive strategic programs that connect education, training, and industry needs.

The internship involves 10–18 weeks with a project-based focus, onboarding, mentorship, and opportunities to present progress to leadership.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a degree program is required.
• Internships/Co-ops provide real-world applications of studies.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills are valued.

Responsibilities

• Support and assist in managing Southwire's Workforce Partnership Program.
• Coordinate activities with industry associations, contractors, training centers, and educational institutions.
• Maintain project plans, timelines, and program documentation.
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and stakeholder engagement activities.
• Assist in measuring program impact and preparing leadership updates.
