Market Development Manager, Energy Saving Ceilings, West Coast Job

Primary location: Remote, West Coast
Relocation offered: Yes
Employment status: Full-Time
Travel: 26%-50%

The estimated base salary range for this role is $110,000 to $170,000 per year. Individual pay is based upon location, skills and expertise, experience and other relevant factors (salary may be adjusted based on geographic location).

As our Market Development Manager of Energy Saving Ceilings, your main area of coverage will be Los Angeles and other metro areas extending to San Diego. The Market Development Manager is responsible for driving the market expansion and revenue growth of our innovative ESC products through extensive market research, strategic planning, and collaboration with various teams to ensure successful market penetration and customer satisfaction.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify new opportunities and emerging trends in energy and decarbonization markets.
  • Identify and evaluate potential target markets and customer segments.
  • Set objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) for market development initiatives.
  • Prepare detailed business plans, including budgeting, forecasting, and ROI analysis.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key industry stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align market strategies and resources.
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback to inform product development and marketing strategies.
  • Stay informed about industry regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Adjust strategies based on performance data and market feedback.
  • Work closely with product development teams to ensure our energy-saving ceiling products meet market demands.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.

  • Experience with energy-saving building products and sustainability efforts is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in market research and analysis tools.
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Preferably 7+ years of experience in market development or business development within the energy-saving or construction products industry.

*Requires geographic proximity to California, Washington, Arizona, Nevada, or Oregon.

*Requires frequent travel to Southern California.
