Market Development Manager

Job Description
Your primary responsibilities include driving sales of the S-Series OCT technology and specimen immobilizers, selling service tiers, building relationships with physicians, C-suite executive, and staff, supporting regional sales and marketing, and contributing to profitable growth.
Travel is required up to 50% of the time.
Responsibilities
- Promote and sell Perimeter’s OCT technology, specimen immobilizers, and service by leading negotiations and executing sales and service contracts with hospitals, medical centers, and ASCs.
- Identify and develop new sales strategies in an assigned region that achieve or exceed revenue expectations.
- Build and strengthen relationships with key partners (KOLs) and customers, ensuring revenue, market share, and growth objectives are met by articulating Perimeter’s value proposition to stakeholders at all levels.
- Generate a sales pipeline and accurately analyze, track activity, and forecast for upper management.
- Conduct and evaluate market research, including customer and competitor activities.
- Assess customer needs and feedback regarding new products and modifications to existing products.
- Assist management in developing new sales strategies and tools for market adoption of Perimeter’s OCT technology.
- Must live in the assigned region; field travel may be up to 4 days per week.
- Support area-marketing activities at national meetings and conferences as required (e.g., booths, handout materials, schedules).
- Collaborate cross-departmentally to enhance education and access to Perimeter’s OCT technology.
- Perform other related duties as required or assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience with demonstrated success in medical device sales, preferably in the breast space.
- Post-secondary degree or higher.
- Experience within the breast health industry is required.
- Self-starter, highly motivated, and eager to learn and succeed.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize personal workload.
- Values and demonstrates teamwork in a multinational and multicultural environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience working in a surgical environment.
- Experience supporting new commercial product launches.
- Experience working in a small team or start-up environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects/assignments simultaneously.
