We are currently hiring a Market Development Manager to help grow our company and ensure our mission is achieved. This remote role is territory-based, requiring the candidate to live within the New York, NY area.

About the Role

As a Market Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales and marketing strategies to grow market share and drive sales in your territory. You will serve as a brand ambassador, working with retail partners and regional leadership to increase gross merchandise value (GMV), promote product adoption, and foster brand loyalty.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Engage with field leadership to communicate value propositions and align on business objectives.
  2. Conduct business reviews with retail partners to identify opportunities and develop strategies.
  3. Influence and motivate business leaders to meet and exceed commitments.
  4. Educate teams on products, solutions, and technology.
  5. Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve issues and assess strategies.
  6. Use data insights to coordinate support for retail locations.
  7. Create and communicate strategic plans to achieve business objectives.
  8. Use tools like Salesforce.com to track activities and share progress.
  9. Exceed GMV targets and grow lease-to-own applications.
  10. Travel approximately 50% of the time.
Qualifications
  • Lease-to-Own experience preferred.
  • 6+ years of sales and/or channel management experience.
  • Proven track record of exceeding quotas and growing channel business.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to travel frequently.
  • Experience with CRM tools like Salesforce.com.
