Insight Global in Carmel, IN is seeking a Senior Market Design Engineer to serve as a market SME for wholesale electricity markets, pricing outcomes, rules, and efficiencies. The role leverages strong engineering and analytical skills to evaluate performance and develop market design enhancements.

You will collaborate with industry stakeholders, analyze complex market and operational data, and assess policy changes to improve reliability, efficiency, and competitiveness of the future electric

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years experience in at least one of the listed areas.
• Experience in power system analysis, statistics, econometrics, market analysis, and optimization.
• Software development related to power systems and energy industry experience.

• Prior deregulated wholesale electricity market experience
