Morningstar Credit Ratings, LLC is seeking a Data Solutions Specialist to join our global support team in Chicago. You will support the market data business, handle client queries during your shift, and collaborate with senior staff to deliver dedicated service to key clients.

Qualifications

• Understanding of financial data and global stock exchanges.
• Ability to analyze data using Excel.
• Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent client service skills with proactive ownership.
• Fast learner, self-starter, able to multitask in a demanding environment.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• 1–2 years’ experience in market data or similar field.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or financial discipline.
• Role does not qualify for immigration sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer support to all incoming client queries during your shift.
• Deliver outstanding customer service by responding to and resolving client issues and requests.
• Investigate queries thoroughly and escalate to Level 2 when necessary.
• Work with senior staff to provide dedicated specialist support to key clients.
• Document actions in CRM (Salesforce).
• Provide regular follow-up to clients on outstanding queries.
• Assist with creating documentation and knowledge sharing.
• Actively contribute to process improvement projects.
