Yoh, A Day & Zimmermann Company in Boston seeks a senior leader to govern the security master and shape the market data strategy. You will set reference data standards, oversee data quality, and partner with Technology and Data Management to modernize platforms and controls.

You'll own end-to-end governance for equities, fixed income, derivatives, and FX data, lead vendor relationships, manage the data budget, and drive data transformation initiatives, including AI enablement, to support

Qualifications

• 7–10 years in market data or reference data within financial services.
• 3+ years management experience.
• Expertise across security master and market data domains.
• Experience managing vendor relationships and licensing.
• Proven ability to build cross-functional relationships with senior stakeholders.
• Experience contributing to data transformation initiatives (quality and governance).
• Deep understanding of instrument data across asset classes (identifiers, classifications, pricing).
• Excellent communication with business, technologists, and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end governance of the security master and data quality controls across asset classes.
• Define and maintain golden-source standards and instrument lifecycles.
• Oversee data quality, reconciliation, and exception management across data flow.
• Lead sourcing, integration and QA of real-time, intraday and end-of-day market data feeds.
• Manage entitlements and licensing considerations for data use.
• Translate evolving data requirements into scalable, controlled solutions.
• Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to align capabilities.
• Partner with Technology and Data Management on platform modernization and metadata control frameworks.
