Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience in market data or reference data within a financial services environment.
• 3+ years of management experience leading teams.
• Expertise across security master and market data domains with major providers.
• Experience managing vendor relationships and licensing considerations.
• Ability to build cross‑functional relationships with senior stakeholders.
• Experience contributing to data transformation, data quality, and governance programs.
• Deep understanding of instrument data, identifiers, classifications, and pricing.
• Excellent communication skills with business, technical, and vendor stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree is required; finance/economics/computer science or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Govern the firm’s security master; ensure accuracy and timeliness across instruments.
• Define data quality controls, reconciliation processes, and issue resolution.
• Oversee vendor relationships, budgeting, and contract renewals.
• Lead market data strategy and delivery for real‑time and end‑of‑day feeds.
• Partner with technology and data management on platforms, lineage, and governance.
• Build strong partnerships with Research, CIO, Operations, Risk, and Finance.
