Wealthfront, based in San Francisco, seeks an experienced financial writer/editor or producer with writing background to expand Vested Interest, a market commentary vertical and newsletter. You will craft timely stories, long-form pieces, and social content across Substack, TikTok, YouTube, and more.

You'll work with Social Media, Editorial, Investment Research, and Compliance teams to translate macro trends into accessible content for a digitally native audience.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years experience writing and editing timely market stories at top-tier outlets.
• Experience writing original, timely long-form content is required.
• Familiarity with investing and personal finance strategies, macroeconomic data.
• Able to translate financial news into digestible content.
• Audio, video, and social media experience is required.
• Bachelor’s degree required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor market and macro news daily; generate timely content ideas for young professionals.
• Manage Vested Interest’s social media across video, audio, and written formats.
• Collaborate with Lifecycle, Social Media and Creative teams to distribute content.
• Evaluate content formats and channels; recommend emphasis.
• Partner with internal teams to measure impact and improve outcomes.
