Wealthfront is seeking an experienced financial writer and editor (or audio reporter/producer with writing experience) to support the Vested Interest market commentary vertical and newsletter. The role involves ideating and writing engaging stories, creating short and long-form content in written and video formats, and translating topics into social media content for Substack, TikTok, YouTube, and more.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years experience writing and editing timely and engaging market and macroeconomic stories at top-tier outlets.
• Familiarity with investing and personal finance strategies, macroeconomic data, and how overarching financial trends impact young professionals.
• Storytelling creativity and expertise in translating financial news and data into unique, digestible content.
• Audio, video, and/or social media experience is required.
• Bachelor’s degree required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor market and macroeconomic news daily and generate high-quality, timely content ideas.
• Manage Vested Interest’s presence on social media platforms for short- and long-form video, audio, and written content.
• Partner with Lifecycle, Social Media and Creative teams to distribute content to clients and prospects across channels.
• Evaluate content formats and distribution channels and make recommendations on which to emphasize.
• Partner with internal teams to measure the impact of content and develop strategies to improve outcomes.
