Pay Range

$270,800.00/yr - $378,800.00/yr

Role Overview

The Market CMO is a healthcare professional responsible for overseeing medical services in the region. This role involves planning, organizing, managing, and supervising healthcare services, working closely with Medical Directors to ensure quality and cost-effective care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and supervise the roles of Center Medical Directors.
  • Recruit and contract physicians as needed.
  • Set work schedules for medical staff based on center needs.
  • Oversee daily physician services operations.
  • Build relationships with specialists and providers to focus on senior health.
  • Make medical decisions and reviews for plan administration.
  • Monitor and guide medical performance to meet quality standards.
  • Develop and update policies and procedures.
  • Represent the organization at community and marketing events.
  • Manage departmental budgets and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Develop strategies for utilization review and disease management.
  • Guide physicians on applying clinical guidelines.
  • Oversee wellness activities and medical department operations.
  • Enforce customer service standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required
  • MD or DO degree.
  • Board eligible or certified in Geriatric, Family, or Internal Medicine.
  • Valid license in the employment state.
  • Experience leading clinical operations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to adapt to value-based care.
  • Basic computer skills, including EMR.
Preferred
  • Active DEA license.
  • Medicare and Medicaid Provider Numbers.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience managing Medicare Advantage panels.
  • Knowledge of Medicare guidelines, HEDIS, coding, and documentation.
  • Technologically savvy and problem solver.
  • Strong clinical program knowledge and communication skills.

Work Details
