TotalEnergies seeks a Market Analyst to synthesize knowledge from internal teams and external sources to support investment decisions in US power markets (ERCOT and PJM). The role combines rigorous data analysis, model development and stakeholder collaboration across functions in Houston or Berkeley.

Building and Sharing Power Market knowledge in the US (ERCOT and PJM as starting cases) is one of the pillars of the Flexible Power & Integration Power Business Unit. It is one of the foundation stones for TotalEnergies’ Power Businesses to be able to reach more than 10% return on the Integrated Power Business. This position is able to sit at our Houston, TX headquarters or our Berkeley, CA office.
The Market Analyst gathers knowledge from the full organization and the external information available to be able to propose to the senior management analysis to support business decisions. Once validated, those analyses will be used as one of the main inputs for investment decisions of the Company.
The Market Analyst provides critical insights to optimize our investments, support the portfolio management in the optimization of our assets, and our CPPA/Clean Firm Power team.
