Drive payer coverage, patient access, and reimbursement for our breakthrough technology, shaping the market access landscape for a disruptive innovation in critical care.

Responsibilities:

As an individual contributor, you will bridge clinical, commercial, and payer perspectives—executing reimbursement and access strategies that enable successful product commercialization. From shaping coding and payment pathways to supporting field engagement and health system partnerships, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our technology reaches patients across the U.S.

Market Access Strategy & Execution

  • Implement U.S. market access strategies including coverage, coding, and payment for current and future products.
  • Align access objectives with broader brand and sales goals.
  • Monitor payer and policy trends to inform pricing and market dynamics.
  • Support commercial launch readiness, private payer engagement, and HEOR initiatives.

Drive Field Support & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Serve as a reimbursement expert for the sales and commercial teams.
  • Partner directly with hospital systems, IDNs, and payer stakeholders to address access barriers.
  • Provide training, tools, and real-time field support.
  • Travel (~20%) to meet with providers, health systems, KOLs, and payers.

Manage Reimbursement Strategy, Data & Analytics

  • Interpret and guide billing and coding pathways (ICD-10, CPT, DRG, NTAP)
  • Leverage analytics and market insights to inform access tactics.
  • Support affordability programs and vendor-led reimbursement case support.

Collaborate Cross-Functionally

  • Work closely with Sales, Medical Affairs, Finance, Legal, and Executive teams.
  • Help create payer tools, educational resources, and digital content.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and company policies.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Health Policy, Public Health, or related field
  • 5–8+ years of U.S. market access or payer-facing experience in medical device or biotech
  • Deep knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, commercial payer systems, and U.S. reimbursement frameworks
  • Field-based access experience with hospitals, IDNs, ACOs, etc.
  • Ability to interpret and communicate health economic and market access data.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree (MBA, MPH, PharmD)
  • Experience launching products and supporting field teams in critical care, neurology, or cardiopulmonary settings.
  • Familiarity with CMS policy, NTAP, and hospital coding (ICD-10, CPT, DRG)
  • Strong project management, stakeholder influence, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Ability to help lead and support a commercial payer strategy.
  • Executive presence and ability to manage external relationships.
