Job summary

Technipaq, Inc. in Crystal Lake, IL is seeking a Mark Andy Press Operator for a 6:00 am to 2:30 pm shift, Monday through Friday.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of Mark Andy press experience, be able to stand for long periods, and maintain safety and cleanliness in a manufacturing facility that handles medical device and pharmaceutical packaging materials.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years related Mark Andy press experience and training.
• Ability to stand/walk/sit for 12-hour shifts.
• Ability to match or detect color variations and brightness.
• Basic math skills to compute footage and lineal footage.
• Measure with a ruler to 1/16 inch.
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 65 lbs.
• Ability to squat, bend, crouch, kneel.
• Tolerate chemicals and strong odors.

Job description

We are seeking a Mark Andy Press Operator for the following shift in our Crystal Lake, IL facility:

Shift available: 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, M-F

Required Skills:

• H.S. Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience
• 3 + years related Mark Andy press experience and training
• Ability to stand/walk/sit for 12-hour shifts
• Ability to match or detect differences between colors, including shades of color and brightness
• Basic math skills with the ability to add, subtract, divide and multiply to figure footage and lineal footage
• Measure and interpret measurements with a standard ruler to 1/16 of an inch
• Physically fit with no restrictions and the ability to lift up to 65 lbs; push, pull, maneuver very large rolls of materials weighing several hundred pounds with the use of equipment on a daily basis.
• Ability to squat, bend, crouch, and kneel.
• Ability to tolerate chemicals and occasional strong odors.

The Press Operator at Technipaq is responsible for producing quality printed material consistently. Able to manage press and helper at all times. Must also be able to monitor workspace for safety compliance and cleanliness, manage daily housekeeping activities and other responsibilities as assigned.

Technipaq is family owned and operated serving the medical device and pharmaceutical packaging industry since 1984. We started as a small one machine company and now operate over 100,000 square feet of manufacturing space with 3 manufacturing and warehouse facilities and 180+ employees. Our manufacturing facilities perform the laminating, slitting, sheeting, die cutting, fabricating, and flexographic printing of pouches, lids and roll stock produced in a variety of sizes from foil, film, Tyvek and paper laminates.
