Job summary

Inovar Packaging Group LLC in Pennsauken Township, NJ, is seeking a Press Operator to run a Mark Andy P4 flexographic press and produce high-quality pressure-sensitive labels. Monday through Thursday, 4pm–2am, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and quality control.

The role requires strong technical know-how in flexographic printing, color management, registration, and preventive maintenance, plus the ability to interpret job specs and maintain equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years operating narrow-web flexographic presses.
• Experience operating a Mark Andy Performance Series press preferred.
• Strong understanding of plate mounting, anilox selection, ink systems, UV curing, color matching, registration, die cutting, lamination.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Mark Andy Performance Series press to produce high-quality labels per customer specs.
• Perform complete press setup, make-ready, plate mounting, and job changeovers.
• Read and interpret job tickets, customer specifications, and production schedules.
• Set up inks, anilox rolls, plates, dies, and substrates per job requirements.
• Maintain registration, color accuracy, and print quality throughout production.

The Flexographic Press Operator is responsible for independently operating a Mark Andy Performance Series P4 flexographic press to produce high-quality pressure-sensitive labels and packaging products that meet customer specifications, production schedules, and quality standards. This role requires strong technical expertise in flexographic printing, color management, registration, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance while maintaining a safe, efficient, and organized work environment.

• Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Required

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 3 years operating narrow-web flexographic presses.
• Experience operating a Mark Andy Performance Series press preferred.
• Strong understanding of:

• Ability to troubleshoot print quality and mechanical issues independently.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.

Preferred

• Experience operating Mark Andy P4, P5, P7, or P9 presses.
• Experience with UV flexographic printing.
• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma experience.

Physical Requirements

• Stand for extended periods.
• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Frequently bend, twist, push, and reach.
• Safely work around moving machinery.
• Wear required PPE.
