Job summary

Technipaq, Inc. in Crystal Lake, IL is seeking a Flexographic Press Helper for the 3rd shift (10:00 pm–6:30 am, M-F). You will support the press operator, prep materials, and help keep the workspace safe and clean in a fast-paced production area.

The ideal candidate has a HS diploma or GED, basic measurement skills, and the ability to lift up to 65 lb. Some related experience is helpful; training provided on equipment and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Experience in machine operation or related mechanical tasks is preferred.
• Ability to measure up to 1/16 inch with ruler or tape measure.

Responsibilities

• Prepare items needed for production and assist the operator.
• Monitor workspace for safety and cleanliness.
• Daily housekeeping in ink room and press area.

Job description

We are seeking a Flexographic Press Helper for the following shift in our Crystal Lake, IL facility:

Shift available: 3rd shift: 10:00 pm to 6:30 am, M-F

Required Skills:

• HS Diploma or GED preferred;
• Must be 18 years of age or older;
• Must have a minimum of 1 year of previous machine operator experience doing some troubleshooting, set-ups OR 1+ year doing more complex car mechanics);
• Must be able to make and interpret measurements up to 1/16th of an inch using a Ruler/Tape Measure;
• Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 65 pounds w/out help;
• Must be able to match or detect differences between colors, including shades of color and brightness;
• Must be able to do the following activities without help -active, using hands, talking, hearing, repetitive motions, climbing, squatting, walking, lifting, pulling, bending. (This person is on their feet for most of shift);

The Flexo Press Helper prepares all items needed for production; a ssists the operator in the daily production needs; and monitors workspace for safety and cleanliness. Responsible for ink room and press area daily housekeeping activities.
