Job summary

Expleo Group is seeking two Marine Systems Integration Engineers to support one of our clients in the integration, commissioning and development of advanced maritime platforms. The successful candidate will liaise between mechanical, electrical and software teams to ensure onboard systems form a coherent operational capability, with responsibilities across integration and testing.

The role requires strong collaboration across disciplines and hands-on problem solving in a fast-paced development

Qualifications

• Experience integrating multidisciplinary engineering systems.
• Software engineering or embedded software development.
• Electrical and electronic engineering background.
• Hardware/software interface development experience.
• Experience in maritime, defence or highly integrated sectors advantageous.
• Ability to rapidly understand unfamiliar systems.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical integration engineer between hardware and software teams.
• Develop understanding of complex vessel systems and their interactions.
• Analyse system behaviour and identify root causes of integration issues.
• Support integration of control software with onboard hardware.
• Work with software engineers to define hardware interfaces and control logic.
• Support integration of electrical, electronic and mechanical systems.
• Assist with system commissioning, fault finding and functional testing.
• Support vessel trials and verification activities where required.
• Break down complex technical problems using structured engineering approaches.
• Liaise with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure technical solutions are delivered efficiently.
• Produce concise technical documentation where required.
