Job summary

Apogee Engineering, LLC seeks a Maritime Systems Engineer to support SOF-AT&L PEO-M. Based at MacDill AFB, FL, you will guide engineering processes, review change proposals, and advise leadership on program status and budget implications.

Required: US citizenship, active clearance, DAWIA WAU equivalency, and 10+ years in maritime engineering roles. On-site in Florida with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Citizenship: Must be a US citizen.
• Clearance: Required.
• Certifications: DAWIA Practitioner Equivalency (WAU) in Engineering/PM or S&T.
• Education/Experience: Minimum 10 years in relevant maritime engineering roles.

Responsibilities

• Support government counterparts regarding processes and reporting requirements.
• Review engineering change proposals, waivers, deviations, and nonconforming materials.
• Document and analyze results using advanced tools.
• Provide inputs for leadership briefings on programs and projects.
• Adjust technical support for emergencies and changing requirements.
• Collaborate with managers, budget personnel, and engineering authorities for project approval.
• Evaluate programs per IACS, ABS, or DNV GL standards.
• Support contract modifications and budget control for engineering efforts.
• Provide inputs for plans, specs, cost estimates, and schedules.
