Job summary

Princess seeks a Marine Security Manager to lead shipboard security operations, oversee assets and systems, and coordinate port security efforts across the fleet. The role requires strong maritime security background and collaboration with shipboard and shoreside teams to ensure regulatory compliance and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include policy development, risk assessment, and supervision of training programs, with a focus on readiness, incident response, and budget stewardship.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and skills related to use of / and training in security, surveillance, and screening equipment.
• Proficient in the use of computers and associated applications.
• Ability to analyze security infrastructure and provide an assessment to senior management.
• Ability to prepare comprehensive reports.
• Ability to train staff in the operation of security systems.
• Practical experience in National/Homeland Security, Maritime Transportation Management or related field.
• Certification as a PFSO/FSO and/or SSO preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee shipboard security operations across the fleet and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Maintain ship security assets and systems; coordinate vendor support.
• Manage Ship Security Alert System (SSAS) registration and testing.
• Support Breath Alcohol Testing program through staff training.
• Port facility security assessments coordination and PFSA oversight.
• Lead policy review sessions and publish revisions.
