Job summary

Noble Corporation seeks a Second in Command and Ship's Security and Stability Officer to support the Master in safety, security, and marine operations aboard our offshore vessel. You will supervise deck and bridge operations, ensure compliance with SOLAS, ISM/ISPS, and environmental rules, and coordinate drills and training for crew.

The role requires extensive experience on large vessels, with leadership, strong communication, and proven ballast, stability calculations, and incident response.

Qualifications

• Ten+ years of experience as a DPO.
• Command experience as vessel chief mate.
• Experience as Navigational Watch Officer on vessels over 3000 GRT.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to manage complex operations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure ship complies with all state, federal, and international laws and regulations.
• Supervise deck and bridge operations and rig stability activities.
• Act as Ship Security Officer and oversee ISM/ISPS and SOLAS training.
• Coordinate deck operations to prevent drilling delays and ensure safety of personnel.
• Mentor and train crew members to readiness for next级roles.
• Liaise with shore-based staff and maritime authorities as required.
