Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years maritime patrol experience.
• U.S. Citizenship.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Active SECRET clearance.
• Harbor Patrol Training completion prior to duties.
• Meet IRP and AR 190-56 requirements.
• Medical, physical, drug screening, background, firearms qualification, and pre-employment readiness requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead marine patrols and operate Government-furnished patrol vessels.
• Detect, intercept, screen, and direct unauthorized vessels from restricted waters.
• Maintain vessel logs documenting operations, drills, maintenance and crew status.
• Coordinate SAR operations and participate in SAR training/exercises.
• Perform pre-departure vessel safety inspections and ensure mission readiness.
• Report incidents and equipment failures per procedures.
• Support VIP transportation and marine escort requirements.
• Execute weather-related vessel protection procedures and comply with regulations.
