Job summary

CACI is seeking an experienced Maritime Safety Compliance Lead to serve as the senior maritime safety SME overseeing safety programs across Indo-Pacific contractor operations. The role ensures compliance with DoD safety policies, USCG guidance, IMO practices, SMS, and contractual requirements while supporting SOCPAC objectives.

Qualifications

• Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility is required.
• Minimum 8 years in maritime safety or related operations.
• Minimum 5 years with DoD, USCG, MSC, or related government maritime programs.
• Experience implementing or managing Maritime Safety Management Systems (SMS) or equivalent programs.
• Experience investigating maritime incidents and conducting risk assessments.
• Experience with geographically dispersed maritime operations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior maritime safety advisor for operations.
• Develop and maintain maritime safety programs for vessel operations.
• Advise leadership on operational risks, hazards, and mitigations.
• Promote hazard identification, risk reduction, and continuous improvement.
• Lead safety inspections and program audits across ports and hubs.
• Coordinate safety activities with MSC, contractors, and partners.
