Job summary

MANTECH is seeking a motivated Maritime Risk Management Specialist to join our team in Oahu, HI. This mid-level role focuses on drafting risk assessment plans, safety documentation, and coordinating vessel inspections to ensure seaworthy platforms and compliant operations.

The position requires 3+ years of relevant experience, a Bachelor's degree in Marine Safety or related field, and proficiency in USCG standards. A Master’s degree and international berthing/husbanding experience are desired.

• Develops and maintains standard operating procedures for managing maritime pollution prevention and safety compliance.
• Facilitates the coordination of vessel inspections and ensure all maritime platforms are seaworthy and properly manned.
• Prepares risk status updates for inclusion in the unclassified document library and management portal.
• Takes direction, guidance, and mentoring from more senior staff.

Minimum Qualifications

Security Clearance Requirements

• Must possess active Public Trust clearance

Physical Requirements

• The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
• Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers via email, phone, and virtual communication which may involve delivering presentations
