Job summary

Port of Portland seeks a Marine Real Estate Development Manager to lead planning, entitlement, and redevelopment of marine properties. You will drive strategies to maximize economic value and long-term sustainability, negotiating complex agreements and structuring P3s to advance redevelopment and capital projects.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years in marine infrastructure and strong financial modeling with a track record of delivering multifaceted waterfront developments in a regulatory environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, or maritime studies-related field.
• Six+ years in marine infrastructure, port development, or related real estate/business development.
• Experience leading waterfront/maritime development projects.
• Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, entitlement, and redevelopment of Port-owned maritime/industrial properties.
• Oversee environmental review, permitting, and regulatory compliance for waterfront projects.
• Structure and negotiate leases, acquisitions, development agreements, and P3s.
• Analyze financial feasibility, pro formas, and ROI scenarios for projects.
• Support capital planning, budgeting, and investment prioritization.
• Develop strategic partnerships and summarize recommendations for management.
