Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 8 years of Ship Repair supervisory/management experience.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• NAVSEA Standard Items knowledge.
• Ability to interact effectively at all levels.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Project, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Review specs, material status, and manpower budgets to ensure milestones and data are addressed.
• Develop project production strategy and schedule to complete milestones and dates.
• Coordinate with departments and subcontractors to ensure specifications, planning, and timely estimates.
• Serve as primary customer contact, establish milestones and discuss progress, quality, or performance issues.
• Chair all production meetings related to the project during execution.
• Monitor weekly project cost and schedule against on-site productivity.
• Act as central focal point for critical project data submitted to the customer.
• Assess and manage subcontractors' tasking within the project.
• Work with contracts to close out the project and submit PPI or related data.
• Assist with training of new Project Managers and Assistants.
• Perform other incidental duties as required.
