Job summary

Sayres Defense seeks a Mid-Level Program Logistics & Lifecycle Sustainment Analyst to support Navy program logistics, lifecycle planning, readiness analysis, and strategic budgeting. The role spans development to modernization and end-of-life across multiple maritime platforms.

Ideal candidate has ~5 years of DoD/Navy experience, with strong data analysis, briefing, and cross-functional collaboration skills, contributing to LCMPs and budget submissions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering, logistics, or related field with strong academic record.
• Approximately five years of DoD/Navy lifecycle management, logistics, or program management experience.
• Foundational knowledge of integrated logistics support and acquisition processes.
• Experience organizing and presenting technical, financial, or performance data.
• Ability to prepare professional briefings, reports, spreadsheets, and trackers.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support lifecycle sustainment and readiness analyses across multiple maritime platforms.
• Develop LCMPs, sustainment strategies, and related planning documents.
• Coordinate inputs on maintenance concepts, spares, training, and data management.
• Analyze fleet readiness, system availability, and total ownership costs.
• Track readiness drivers, obsolescence risks, and KPIs through lifecycle.
• Prepare briefings and leadership materials; support data calls and reviews.
• Collaborate with IPTs and stakeholders across engineering, finance, and program management.
