Job summary

Default Brand seeks a Maritime Prepositioning Operations Lead Planner/Analyst to provide on-site SME support in Quantico, VA. You will advise on MPF/MPS capabilities, contribute to CONOPS/COE development, and support joint exercises within ESCB and related commands.

The role requires solid MPF/MPS planning experience, strong knowledge of Marine Corps/Navy structures, and possession or eligibility for a SECRET clearance. Travel to support wargames, meetings, and deployments is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Naval Science or equivalent; 10 years of relevant MPF/MPS experience required.
• Documented staff and/or operational MPF/MPS planning/operational experience.
• Solid knowledge of Marine Corps and Navy structures and functions.
• Must possess or be eligible for a SECRET clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide SME on MPF/MPS capabilities, employment, and interfaces with exercises and operations.
• Develop and update CONOPS, COE, and operational handbooks for MPF/MPS.
• Identify functional and mission support requirements to influence future capability development.
• Lead ESCB MPF/MPS equities at wargames, OAGs, OPTs, and Tabletop Exercises.
• Support MPF force development and Naval Integration related to loading, stowage, and employment.
• Track and report planned force revisions and integration into MPS assets.
• Communicate ship capability requirements within Navy, Marine Corps, and Joint Staffs.
