Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of teaching, training, lecturing and testing methods.
• Ability to develop and present curriculum and training material.
• Experience advising students on credential applications or related processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop curriculum for Coast Guard approval and maritime training materials.
• Maintain equipment used for maritime courses and simulate operations when needed.
• Advise students on merchant mariner credential applications and outreach activities.
• Support rural community training and campus outreach as needed.
