Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking an experienced frontend/full-stack engineer to shape the web app architecture for Lattice for Maritime, a Go-backed, React frontend system used across autonomous maritime products. You’ll lead architecture evolution and best practices to enable performant, reliable features and empower teammates to build effectively.

You will design patterns, mentor engineers, and collaborate across front-end, back-end, build, and deployment pipelines to deliver high-quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• Experience building production web applications in JavaScript or TypeScript (React)
• Experience designing architectural patterns, tooling, or best practices, and leading engineering teams in adopting them
• Experience integrating tools and libraries into frontend codebases and CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with Go, C++, or Rust
• Must be a U.S. Person due to export-controlled information access

Responsibilities

• Design and implement architectural patterns, tools, and best practices for building components, pages, services, and apps
• Proactively identify pain points to improve dev experience and infrastructure
• Work across the stack (front-end, back-end, build, CI/CD) to deliver features
• Support and mentor engineers on engineering best practices and tooling
• Lead creation of new apps or breakdowns into focused experiences
• Harden component library for design system compatibility
• Evolve libraries for mapping, charting, logging to improve performance and aesthetics
