Job summary

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities with AI, autonomy, and advanced systems. The Dive-XL Field Operations team seeks an Operational Support Engineer to own logistics, sparing, and site readiness for demanding subsea operations.

You will lead equipment readiness, maintenance, site surveys, and deployment planning while traveling up to 50% of the time to enable mission success.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in logistics, equipment maintenance, or operational support.
• Experience leading or coordinating field logistics in a demanding environment.
• Strong organizational skills managing inventories across distributed assets.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and Oracle ERP systems.
• Excellent communication with customers, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to deploy up to 50% of the time.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance.
• Pre-employment and randomized substance screening as required.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end logistics coordination for field operations.
• Drive sparing strategy and maintain critical spare inventory levels.
• Coordinate with supply chain managers on procurement priorities and lead times.
• Lead field ops consumables tracking, forecasting, and replenishment.
• Manage RMA processes for defective equipment in coordination with field team and quality.
• Lead hands-on troubleshooting, repair, operation, and maintenance of AUVs and heavy equipment.
• Establish preventive maintenance schedules and inventory accountability across assets.
• Travel and lead customer-facing operations ~50% of the time.
