Job summary

People, Technology & Processes, LLC seeks an experienced maritime instructor to teach MK VI engineering systems in a hands-on setting aboard training evolutions in San Diego. You will deliver classroom sessions, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and ensure strict adherence to safety procedures and operational protocols.

Applicants should bring 4+ years of small boat tactical experience, Navy qualifications, and proficiency in using MS Office and reading schematics.

Qualifications

Active state driver’s license.
Four (4) years of small boat/craft tactical experience in maritime environment with proficiency in: Maritime Navigation, Tactical Boat Operations, and Military decision‑making processes (BAMCIS).
Qualified Navy Second Class Swimmer or equivalent.
Line Coach (LC)/Range Safety Officer (RSO) qualifications.
Record of PQS qualifications in all CORIVFOR weapons and weapon systems.
Experience with tactical planning and maritime operations.
Familiarity with mechanical and electrical schematics.
Physically fit to perform maritime instruction in austere environments.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and reading technical schematics.

Responsibilities

Teach students in small craft systems including propulsion, fuel, electrical, and damage control
Conduct hands‑on instruction and classroom sessions focused on MK VI engineering systems
Troubleshoot mechanical issues during training evolutions
Ensure safety procedures and operational protocols are followed
Maintain instructional materials and contribute to curriculum development
