Job summary

Princess is seeking a Manager, Dry Dock OHS and Certification to lead safety governance and oversight across dry dock projects, coordinating with shipboard leadership, shipyards, contractors, and shoreside stakeholders to ensure safety standards and regulatory compliance. The role emphasizes proactive planning, risk reduction, and fleet-wide certification support.

The position requires extensive experience in occupational health and safety, with a preference for maritime or passenger shipping

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree or equivalent acceptable.
• Nautical Science, Engineering, or Occupational Safety are preferred disciplines.
• Chief Officer Unlimited, 2nd Engineer Unlimited, or NEBOSH certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead dry dock safety program governance across full project lifecycles and coordinate with shipboard leadership and yards to ensure safety controls and regulatory compliance.
• Provide safety leadership through briefings, inspections, audits, incident investigations, and corrective actions; monitor safety performance and drive improvements.
• Coordinate ship certification activities, review modifications, and ensure documentation and approvals meet regulatory and company requirements.
• Lead or support safety, compliance, and risk reduction projects and drive cross-functional collaboration to strengthen safety and fleet readiness.
