Job summary

Princess Cruises is seeking a Manager, Dry Dock OHS and Certification to establish safety programs and oversee compliance during dry dock operations. You will coordinate with shipyards, contractors, and regulatory authorities to ensure high safety standards and proper ship modifications.

The role requires leading safety reviews, tracking incidents, and driving continuous improvement across the fleet. In-office role based in the Miami area with extensive shipboard travel likely.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s or equivalent preferred.
• Preferred disciplines: Nautical Science, Engineering, Occupational Safety.
• Minimum 5 years of occupational health and safety management experience in maritime or passenger shipping.
• Experience supporting dry dock, shipyard, or major maintenance projects.
• Certifications such as NEBOSH or equivalent are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead dry dock safety program governance across project lifecycles and coordinate with shipyards, contractors, and shoreside teams.
• Provide safety leadership through briefings, audits, investigations, and corrective actions; monitor compliance and drive improvements.
• Coordinate ship certification activities and manage documentation for modifications related to dry dock projects.
• Lead cross-functional safety, compliance, and risk-reduction initiatives and ensure timely implementation.
