Job summary

OSI Maritime Systems seeks a Business Development Manager to lead regional sales of naval navigation and integration solutions. You will build strong relationships with Government, Defence and Naval HQs, identify opportunities, and coordinate proposals to close high-value contracts.

Role requires Navy experience, strategic selling skills, and the ability to work across multiple internal teams. Expect travel and active market analysis to position OSI’s offerings effectively.

Qualifications

• 5+ years with a Navy including experience in bridge watch-keeping, navigation and tactical employment of ships’ assets using modern electronic navigation systems or equivalent experience in a Maritime Defence Industry company.
• Strong negotiation capability with focused strategic and tactical selling skills.
• Outstanding communication, interpersonal and people management skills; comfortable presenting to large groups and interacting with stakeholders.
• Some understanding of marketing and sales nuances in a military and pseudo-military environment.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work alone or in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Support Director BD in designing and implementing strategies to identify sales prospects in the assigned region; sell products and services to major new and existing clients through various channels.
• Assist in ensuring successful and timely execution and achievement of assigned goals and objectives; develop long-range objectives and strategic plans for B2B or B2G opportunities.
• Drive profitable revenue growth through sales bookings by focusing on existing and new business throughout the sales funnel using the CRM system.
• Develop an understanding of product pricing, promotion and sales and marketing strategies; create market-penetration plans for the region.
