Job summary

A leading maritime technology company in New Orleans seeks a detail-oriented Controls Systems Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot automated control systems. Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in industrial instrumentation and controls maintenance.
• Experience with instrumentation calibration tools and procedures.
• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols.

Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate, and commission instrumentation and control systems.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on PLCs and associated devices.
• Troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, and control system faults.

Skills

Hands-on experience in industrial instrumentation and controls maintenance

Working knowledge of PLC systems

Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings

Familiarity with industrial safety practices

Education

Associate's degree or technical diploma in Instrumentation, Electrical Technology, Electronics, or related field

Tools
