Job summary

Kokosing is actively seeking certified Welders for positions in Baltimore, MD and Hopewell, VA. The role involves fabricating, welding, and repairing equipment and structures using MIG, TIG, and FCAW welding techniques.

Candidates must meet AWS D1.1/D1.5 certifications or be able to obtain them, and be comfortable working at heights with fall protection protocols. Responsibilities include interpreting plans, operating welding equipment safely, and ensuring quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• AWS D1.1 and D1.5 certifications are required or able to be passed.
• Must be able to work tied off to fall protection.
• Experience with welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and FCAW is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fabricates, joins, and repairs equipment, fixtures, and structures using welding techniques.
• Operates welding equipment and hand tools safely.
• Interprets plans, drawings, and work orders to determine requirements.
• Maintains cleanliness and readiness of work area and tools.
• Adheres to safety and quality standards on all projects.
